Clarus Capital Appoints Deputy Managing Director

Zurich, March 1, 2021 - Clarus Capital Group continues to grow and strengthen its team with proven industry professionals. The asset manager is filling the position of deputy managing director and an additional client advisor is on board.

Markus von Holzen is the new deputy managing director of Clarus Capital Group (CCG), one of the fastest growing Swiss asset managers. The experienced banker joins CCG after about 20 years at the private bank Union Bancaire Privée. There he worked as a client advisor and later became Head of the External Asset Manager (EAM) department. Markus von Holzen played a key role in building up the EAM business of Union Banque Privée in Zurich.

Giancarlo Guetg, Managing Director of CCG, is looking forward to working with his new colleague: "Markus von Holzen brings valuable expertise in external asset management. He will help to further develop the structures of CCG to even better meet the needs of our demanding clientele."

Also new to the team is Elina Novak. She joined CCG in September 2020 and is a consultant mainly responsible for clients from Russia and Kazakhstan. Elina Novak comes from UBS, where she served clients from Germany, Austria, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan for several years. She holds the "Certified Wealth Management Advisor" diploma from the Swiss Association for Quality.
